Zhanjiang, officailly known as "Guangzhou Bay", is located in the southern of China, on the Leizhou Peninsula. It’s on the boarder of three provinces，in the low latitudes subtropical monsoon climate zone. Zhanjiang is rich in and famous for seafood.
Zhanjiang Olympic Sports Center consists of three indoor stadiums,one outdoor stadium and peripheral road construction. The overall design of the whole project focus on the them of "streamers",highlighting its natural and smooth streamline layout. With simple and splain building,the stadium is called "the shell of the sea".
LA-12M is a large-size 3-channel frequency division line array speaker system. It provides a frequency range of 40Hz-18KHz. It composes of two 44mm (voice coil) neodymium magnetic compression unit, four 6-inch alto units,and two 12-inch neodymium magnetic woofers, providing great power for the speaker system.
In the low frequency part , there is a pair of high-efficiency 400W 12-inche paper cone woofer in series connection.
In the intermediate frequency part , it consists of four high sensitivity 6-inch alto unit , installed behind the high frequency part.
In the high frequency part, there are two 44mm (voice coil) neodymium magnetic compression units. Through a plane wave replacer and a 90 degree index curve to the trumpet, it creates a consistent wavefront.
With a sensitivity up to 110dB in the high frequency part, LA-12M/LA-12M+ speaker system generate as much as 132dB peak HRTFS (SPL) output. The plywood case of LA-12M/LA-12M+ is trapezoid. The space between two LA-12M/LA-12M+ is very narrow, which has reduced the invalid sound area of the whole line array, and minimizes the vertical side lobe.In this way, the line array speaker system works quite well in the indoor and outdoor performance.
